Around Devon And Cornwall

For the non-angler there is plenty to see and do around Devon and Cornwall, so, while the angler enjoys his sport, why not entertain yourself by visiting the numerous attractions around.

Tinney Waters is a haven of peace and beauty. The early morning enthusiast roaming safely within our grounds can easily spot badgers, rabbits, foxes and the occasional deer. Walking along the quiet country lanes you can see all of these creatures and many more. Spot the buzzards flying above you, and, if you are lucky, you may see one as close as twenty feet away. The flora and fauna in the area is amazing in its diversity.

Beautiful Cornish and Devonshire beaches and coves are readily accessible just a few short miles away, Clovelly, Bude, Boscastle and Tintagel to name but a few. For the more adventurous why not take a day trip to Falmouth, Penzance or Land's End.

There are several attractions to suit all ages, from real steam trains, to theme parks, museums of Cornish History or a visit underground in a real Cornish Tin Mine all within easy driving distance. The newest and most popular venue is the 'Eden Project' at St. Austell. Three huge dome structures containing flora from all over the world, from rain forests to deserts. An amazing feat of engineering and well worth a visit.

The Molesworth Arms at Pyworthy is a favourite venue of our customers, not only for its liquid refreshment but also for the delicious lunches and evening meals it serves. In Holsworthy (the nearest town) there are several shops and Public Houses. The weekly market is held in the Square on Wednesdays, there are also antique fairs and car boot sales in the area on most Sundays.
